I was so excited to be able to design for my very first men’s book. I have felt men have been neglected in hand knitting for a while. Maybe through a history of horror stories put down through the generations of hand knitted Christmas sweaters that have one sleeve longer than the other, or like in Bridget Jones Diary when Darcy was wearing a novelty Rudolf the Reindeer sweater. I hope my book changes these thoughts. I wanted to design garments that were understated and enjoyable to knit continuing my philosophy of simple, straightforward easy to knit patterns. The garments are styled in the book to be fitted, however the sizing ranges from 34” to 52” so can be worn fitted or knitted in a large size to be baggy.
