Pattern Checking 2010-08-24

For the past few weeks I have been pattern checking and getting the books together. It has only been a few weeks but because there are so many patterns it feels as if I have been doing nothing else for the last 1000 years!

I don't know what to do when I come to the end. It will feel very strange not to be writing, checking, re-writing, re-checking patterns.

However I have to be very, very careful when checking the patterns because I am starting to automatically read things. It's like that mind puzzle that says if the first and end letter is correct, it doesn't matter what the sequence of the letters are inside the mind will still read the word correctly or know what the word is, for example:

I am wirting mnay pattrens toady as well as sewnig up garmnets and chceking pattrens.

Or a more tricky one:

Eevn wehn I hvae a baerk for a cup of cffooee I am sweing up htas!

Perhaps I should get on with the checking rather than writing silly blog entries!! This is what happens to the mind when it reads too many patterns!!
