Mirasol Designs 2011-06-14

Since my last blog comment I've been very busy designing for my next 5 Mirasol Books.

I've swatched, designed, written patterns, sent out the patterns and yarn to my knitters, received it back, sewn them up, graded up the patterns, sent them to my pattern checker, organised the photo shoot, booked the models, organised the location, went on the photo shoot, sent the patterns to my layout designer, checked the layout, and soon they will be ready to be sent to the printers!

There is a lot of work that goes into producing a knitting book yet I am lucky to be able to work with my passion of creating knitted garments. 

You'd think after knitting non-stop for the past few months I would want a break, and yet I realised today, a break for me is knitting something fun, like a sheep?!!
