Time Travelling 2011-04-18

What is happening with time?? I feel like it should still be January and here we are in the Easter Holidays??

I can not believe how quickly the days and months have flown by!

I also can not believe it was February since I wrote my last blog entry. Where have all those days gone??

When writing my last blog it was after the heavy snow we had and today, it feels like summer with the sun shining and bright blue skies. 

As I am in England, today I have already past the time of day with people talking about the weather and now I am blogging about it! (I do always wonder why the British like to talk about the weather but after the last couple of weeks it makes perfect sense, as one day you may have bright blue skies and be wearing your summer clothes, then Bang! The next day it is freezing cold and raining?!)

In Knitting News........

I am busily designing for my next few books. I have completed designing for 2 of them and am getting on with the final bits of the remaining ones. All the garments are out with knitters at the moment.

The yarn I am using is from the Mirasol Collection. I just love, love *love* the yarn in this Collection. The way the yarn is made and the way they put the shades together (especially in the melanges) is amazing!

For example in the Miski, Sulka and Ushya they might have a shade that on first glance lots like a navy but everytime I knit with it I see a different colour, sometimes even a red!

There are so many lovely yarns out there but I keep coming back to Mirasol as my favourite, even when other yarns try to tempt me with their softness and colours, they don't keep me away from Mirasol for long!
